Gob Squad’s Kitchen (You Never Had It So Good)

I’m doing a bit of work for the ICIA in Bath at the moment, promoting Gob Squad’s Kitchen which comes to them on Saturday 5 July.

Gob Squad were early mentors to The Special Guests as part of Nottingham’s eXpo festival in 2003, so we’re big fans of the work. This show looks brilliant – it’s a re-working of Andy Warhol’s cult 60s film Kitchen, which seemed to capture exactly what the 60s were all about. Gob Squad are reconstructing the film despite never having seen it and the result is “a live film with bad coffee, nervous breakdowns, wild parties and modern hairstyles.”

Check out what they have to say about the work here.

Tickets are £9/£7 concessions and can be booked by calling 01225 386777.
