One of the highlights of Venn this year, was the soft, pizzicato of Haushka’s doctored upright piano. Dressed with screws and tapes and other bits and pieces, in the manner of John Cage’s prepared pianos, his delicate sounds were the perfect start to a Saturday morning.
So I’m chuffed that Qu Junktions are bringing him back to Arnolfini on Thursday 18 September to play again, this time alongside Mapstation and Chipper.
It’s gorgeous, basically.
